Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Is Engaged

It sounds like ABC has another successful season of The Bachelorette on their hands—that is, one that ended in an engagement. Rachel Lindsay, the star of the upcoming Season 13, revealed Thursday that she is engaged to a contestant on the show.

“I am very much so in love and very much so engaged,” the 31-year-old attorney said during a press call, according to People. “I am getting my happy ending!”

Just yesterday we got our first look at her full list of suitors for Season 13, and now that we know one of these guys is “the one” for Lindsay, it makes it even more fun to parse through their headshots, names, and often hilarious careers. Take 31-year-old Jonathan, for instance, who lists his occupation as a “tickle monster,” and Blake, an aspiring drummer from Marina del Rey, Calif.

ABC’s first-ever black Bachelorette has the most diverse cast of contestants on the show yet, with 14 of her 31 potential fiancé’s being men of color. While Lindsay insists that her show won’t “be that different from any other season of The Bachelorette,” she will bring up race in the first episode.

“With the guys, you know, if it’s something new to them, then I want to talk about it the same way that I [wanted] to talk to Nick about it: ‘Have you ever dated a black woman before?’” she told Entertainment Tonight.

Tune into The Bachelorette when it airs on ABC on Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
